So far, no news is good news. I sent Cameron a gift package last Monday before Thanksgiving. Hopefully he will receive it by Christmas. I had to fill out a Customs declaration when I couldn't say where it was to go. The P.O. is most likely used to this.
We are comming up on 3 weeks of not knowing where he is exactly. That's a big sand box over there. With the action slowing down where he is, I suspect he may get redeployed to where more troops are needed. Seven months is a long time to not see my son. I don't believe I have ever gone 2 months without at least talking to him.
I have several friends and family praying with me for his health and safety over there. If you read this blog, please say a little prayer for Cameron and ALL of our troops. God Love you.

Proud Marine Dad
I set this up in honor of my son, Cameron. He became a U.S.Marine on my birthday. Actually that was the day he got on the airplane to go to boot camp. Close enough. I am so proud of him. He just made corporal. On his way to Iraq to serve his country and help the people of Iraq to make a better life. Whatever you may think of the United States being involved in Iraq, don't you for one minute disgrace the fine men and women of our military. They are among the finest people you will ever meet. I am proud of every one of them. And you should be too.
